Pampered before the storm
Next time you do an online check in with Cathay, make sure to get to the counter 59 minutes before your flight. Brian and I did that and they gave our seats away and then proceeded to move us to Upper Deck Business Class.
Now, how great is business class?
1) The champagne is there waiting for you.
2) Fully reclining seats to pass out.
3) Nice headphones
4) Side compartments to store stuff so that your front pocket isn't overly stuffed
5) Delicious, delicious food
6) Gilbert (our steward) kept offering us chocolates and Port.
7) Unlimited drinks
8) Business class toiletry package
9) Free massages
Ok, so #9 didn't happen, but our 15 hour flight to HK was extremely enjoyable. Got enough sleep and have a few hours before we head to Delhi. Can't wait til that smell hits!
Anyways, everything that has happened in the last 50 hours has been so surreal, almost straight out of a movie for us. We're extremely thankful for all of your support through the last few months. As a matter of fact, from all of your donations, we have reached our $2000 goal! We still have to put in some money from shirt sales to the willwemakeit site, but from our calculations, we are beyond the goal! And in only a few days, we'll be doing some more pimpin' to our rickshaw and get driving lessons. Very likely that we will somehow tip it over within a few minutes.
